Joseph Mugweru Mbuthia is a multi-skilled professional with over 30 years of diverse experience in the field of communications and publishing, origination of content, news gathering and analysis of same; proofreading, editing and layout of publications – journals, books, magazines and newspapers. Joe is patient trainer and communicator with superlative interpersonal skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in sustainable relationships, team player and results-oriented individual focused on attaining targets within set deadlines. Throughout his career, Mr. Mbuthia has played a role in training emerging journalists in various forums, organized by the Kenya Editors Guild (KEG), of which he is a member, and the Media Council of Kenya. Presently, he serves as an independent consultant specializing in media issues, public relations, books, and mentorship. Mr. Mbuthia holds an MA in Journalism Studies from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff.
